Tiara and her Mom
A milestone in all the efforts that the Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua has made possible since 1994 with the greatest commitment, will and deepest conviction.
Tiara, we all love you and wish you all the best in your life.
And we are sure that your smile will later be just as beautiful as your mom's.
In addition to Tiara, 38 other kids came with their parents to the Kolewa family gathering at The Cakra Hotel in Denpasar.
The two-day weekend event was warmly opened by Ana ( Board Member Kolewa). There was a welcome speech by Karl-Heinz in perfect Bahasa Indonesia and also Ibu Putu (Kolewa secretary) had welcomed everyone present.

The meeting had a variety of goals. So the results after the surgery were monitored by a plastic surgeon from Dharma Yadnya Hospital. All were also interviewed in order to gain knowledge for stigmatization research. This all led to conclusions as to whether further corrective operations are necessary.
But the parents were also kept busy: In a seminar they were informed about topics such as nutrition, hygiene, environmental protection and the importance of using toothbrushes trained.
With regard to speech therapy to be practiced at home, their knowledge was also refreshed.
The problems that parents have because their children were born with an anomaly were also addressed.
In the meantime, the children had the opportunity to let their creativity run free together with Kolewa team members.
And also on the second day there was a toothbrush class, speech therapy and games, team building and many more.
