Extremely busy, our Rotary Club this week....

So what happened exactly?

1. DONATION 💰💰💰

We had talked about fundraising for people affected by the floods at the Club Project Committee Meeting. The District advised us that we should donate as well. 😎😎😎

No sooner said than done!

We had decided to donate all proceeds from the raffle during lunch to this cause.

The result was 3,000,000 IDR!!

Thanks to all Rotarians!!💪💪💪

2. CIMD in Singaraja

In Singaraja is the CIMD project, which we have supported for a long time.

Every 3 months we transfer 15,750,000 IDR !! ...and it was the same again this week!

This ensures that 27 disabled children and their parents do not have to worry about attending, pedagogical learning, care and meals at the include-us-elementary school.

3. Contributions to the Rotary World Fund

Yes exactly, we have it with the numbers....

Through The Rotary Foundation, we learned that our club is one of the top contributors to the World Fund in Rotary year 2021-2022!

Only 7% of all worldwide clubs, and in particular their members, have donated at least USD 100 each.

Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Bali Nusa Dua!!!💪💪💪

4. RCBND's connection to Taipei, Taiwan

In today's meeting with dr Putu, Karl-Heinz and Matthias got the impression that she is very, very happy.

Because she hit the jackpot, thanks to funding from our ongoing Global Grant.

For a total of 6 months, dr Putu will be trained at one of the world's top plastic surgery centers of excellence, the Craniofacial Center of the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan.

Dr Putu will then be one of a total of 3 (three!) specialists in this field across Indonesia.
