Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua Invests in the Future of 43 Students

On 15th December 2023, Rotary Club Bali Nusa Dua (RCBND) signed scholarship commitments for 43 deserving students from SMKN1 Kuta Selatan which for most, are their first-ever scholarships.




These scholarships, covering tuition fees for the 2023-2024 academic year, were proudly awarded following a rigorous application process taking into considerations their academic standing, extracurricular involvements, and their economic status. Each recipient come from a family facing financial limitations, yet demonstrates undeniable academic potential.




The official signing ceremony, held at SMKN1 Kuta Selatan’s Technopark, welcomed esteemed representatives from both entities. RCBND was present with President Matthias Frenzel, Scholarship Team Leader Ralf Luthe, and Scholarship Project Leader Dona Poskiparta. From SMKN1 Kuta Selatan, Principal Bpk. I Nyoman Sumatra, Student Affairs Officer Bpk. Ngurah Sastra, and Ibu Antara graced the occasion.




The scholarship initiative exemplifies RCBND’s unwavering commitment to nurturing education within the community. For several years, the club has proudly supported SMKN1 Kuta Selatan students through similar programs. It’s a testament to their core belief that education unlocks brighter tomorrows, and they actively empower these young minds to reach their full potential.




Beyond financial aid, these scholarships represent a beacon of hope, allowing recipients to fully immerse themselves in their studies without the burden of tuition worries.
